Cork set to pop as Monster Motorcycle Show rocks up

The Cork Motorcycle Racing and Vintage Club are the proud hosts of the Munster 100 road races each year.

Organised in conjunction with the MCUI, they attract a host of national and international riders and are an event that’s not to be missed.

This year they take place on June the 25th and 26th this year. A little way away yet, but there’s a reason why we mention them now….

While all the work is done by volunteers these events still cost money to run. The  help of sponsors is, of course,  invaluable. But the races depend upon the Cork Monster Motorcycle Show which plays a huge part in raising the money needed.

Something for the weekend

Which brings us to this weekend.

The Monster Motorcycle Show take place this Sunday, preceded, as ever, by a star-studded Saturday night line up of biking entertainment.

The show venue is substantial with a little over 30,000sq/ft of exhibition space taken up by vendors of everything from superbikes to t-shirts.

The important thing, though, is that everyone exhibiting and attending the show will be supporting the club.

Visitors will be able to browse through all the latest machinery in the market in addition to a huge choice of accessories, leathers, clothing.

Obviously visiting club stands and taking in the impressive vintage and custom bike displays is also key to the show’s pull.

In addition, the stage will  be set to host a selection of riders and guests from the world of motorbike racing.

This year we here at Principal Insurance Ireland  are delighted to again be supporting the show as sponsor.

We’ll be there along with some of the country’s largest retailers as well as a host of characters from the motorcycle community.

Yes indeed, we’re all set for another great weekend’s entertainment.
