Because H-D now have a policy of approving its network’s pre-owned bikes, it has a 150 point checklist that must be met by every dealership’s workshop. When, and only when, 150 boxes have been ticked, the company will approve a factory warranty for what some people insist on referring to as a “pre-loved” machine. We don’t.
This fits really well with Waterford Harley-Davidson‘s ethos as they were prepping their bikes to a higher standard than the new system demands long before this became a H-D requirement
Visit now and you’ll find a host of Harleys that meet the marque’s mark.
First up is a 2017 Electra Glide Ultra Limited, with 47,000 km on the clock. Run in one might say.
The Milwaukee-Eight 107 engined tourer bears premium pieces.
These include Brembo brakes with ABS, heated grips and an infotainment system that features GPS navigation, Bluetooth connectivity and brilliant sound.
There’s also a 2005 Electra Glide.
With 43,715 miles on its 1450cc Twin Cam 88 V-Twin, it comes with a stack of extras such as a fork-mounted batwing fairing, lower fairings and hard saddlebags.
In addition, a particularly spacious King Tour-Pak gives the bike more luggage capacity than the boot of a medium sized family car!
Cruise control, a 4-speaker AM/FM/CD audio system, and a built-in CB/intercom system make the bike.
A more recent machine is a ‘15 Ultra Limited CVO.
These machines have always been coveted by those in the know.
That’s because they are made in very limited numbers and stand out from the rest of the range thanks to their bespoke finish.
Power comes from a 1801cc Twin Cam engine and the limited edition paintwork and wheels are complemented by a Bluetooth connected nav, music and phone option.
As well as heated grips it even has a pair of heated seats!
There’s also an Ultra Classic CVO from back in 2008 up for grabs.
This one has covered just 61,919km from new and features a mighty, rumbling Screamin’ Eagle 110, 1800cc, V-Twin engine.
There’s a full fairing that houses the sound system and once again, it comes with that one year warranty.
Rolling back the years is a 2004 Electra Glide Classic.
This machine has just over fifty thousand miles on its 1,450cc Twin Cam 88 V-Twin engine.
It’s been prepped to a ridiculously high standard with a new belt and pulley, new charging system and new cam chain tensioners
It has everything needed for a touring bike and is covered with a three-month house warranty.
Finally catching our eye are a 2011 Street Glide and a 2013 Harley-Davidson Road Glide Special, the latter with only 27,574 KM on the dial.
It too is powered by a Twin Cam 103 engine and features hard saddlebags and a top box.
If you’re looking for a fresh ride for next year without splashing the Euros on a new machine, give Mo a call on 51 844200 to book a test ride on any of these bikes.
